For the treatment of coccidia in layer and turkeys, it is also used
as an assistant treatment to prevent the spread of coccidia. It's
characterized with its easily using, quick activity and not affecting
on eggs production. amprolium is considered as a common
compound against coccidia in layer and hens mothers during
fosterage period. It has very low poisoning level and a good effect
against (Eimeria tenella) (Eimeria necatrix), a medium effect
against (Eimeria acervuline) and a weak effect against (Eimeria
maximia) and (Eimeria brunetti).
